Rec Center is, first and foremost, a digital community connecting creatives worldwide. Most of our courses & events are offered digitally over zoom.

Free community-oriented resources are offered through digital and in-person events, podcasts, community offerings, and more.
IRL Pop-Ups & Events
Some events and courses are offered IRL/In-Person in the Portland, OR areas and beyond.
Community Care
We offer opportunities for community to connect outside of structured events and classes.
All classes at Rec Center are offered on a “Pay What You Can” basis. No proof of income needed- we trust you. Consider paying more than the minimum, and thus, pay it forwarded to those with greater need.

Class Policies & Notes
Cancellation:
Students can cancel for a full refund (minus fees) up to 24 hours in advance. Students also have the option of rescheduling their enrollment to a class of equal or lesser value.
If class does not meet minimum enrollment students will be notified 24 hours in advance. Students can choose between a full refund (minus fees) or rescheduling their enrollment to a class of equal or lesser value.
Zoom links are sent 10 minutes before the beginning of class. Make sure to check your spam folder!
As a reminder, we have a zero tolerance policy for hateful language and behavior, harassment, and anything deemed inappropriate. Facilitators and staff have the right to remove you from the digital classroom at anytime based on their discretion. Refunds will not be given if a student has violated our Safer Spaces policy.
